Welcome to “ Fifty and Fabulous in Fresno” the home of the first California State Square Dance Convention. We are planning a very special program for you.
For the first time we will be having 5 very special callers for a full program of Square Dancing. They are Bob Baier from Texas, Tim Crawford from Canada, Dan Nordbye from Arizona, Tony Oxendine from South Carolina and Charlie Robertson from Colorado. There is also a full Round Dancing program using our California Cuers and their friends. The youth are most welcome and will be dancing to the great callers as well. Handicapables are also welcome for a special time for them.
Some of the special events will be a fashion show, Red Hat Ladies Parade, Grand Prize Drawing, Vendors, Exhibitions, Sewing Room and Education Panels.
Register early and come to the 50th State Square Dance Convention at the Fresno Fairground with RV Parking on the grounds, within easy walking to the halls. For those of you who will be staying in hotels check our flyers for some of our Fresno hotels. Look for information on our Trail in Dance on Thursday night. Join us in Fresno in 2010 and help us “stomp some grapes!”
